Central West End

The Central West End is renowned for its architecture and culture, an artistic and bohemian style, as well as an abundance of dining and nightlife. The neighborhood is home to grand and lavish estates, modest housing with attractive architectural details, newer high rise condominium and apartment complexes, the Chase Park Plaza Hotel and the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis. The area is located between St. Louis University to the east, the Washington University Medical School campus and BJC Hospital to the south and Forest Park to the west.
